The trials and tribulations of a DC couple transplanted to the Andean hinterlands
that's a wild azalea. i lived in a house that had one growing outside my bedroom window. makes you wonder why they needed to improve them, doesn't it?
Thanks for the info, Silver Solo. I've been wondering what kind of tree that was. I translated the seller's explanation as acacia, which really didn't make any sense at all - but azalea does. Acacia, azalea. I can see the similarities and potential for mis-translation. Another upside of living in a foreign country - I now have a ready excuse for only catching half of a conversation and misunderstanding whatever people are saying.
what could possibly go wrong with growing unidentified south american plants in your greenehouse?
